In Nepal, people who do not know Pro Dr. Jagdish Vaidya are rare. Succeeding in creating a distinct and excellent identity in the field of social service, Jagdish Vaidya is famous by the nickname “Father of the Bell“. Vaidya, who has been certified as a national social worker by the Government of Nepal, has set up huge bells in more than 500 cultural heritages of Nepal. Vaidya, a culture lover, established the historic temple of Saraswati at Tribhuvan University in 2075 BS, which was inaugurated by the then Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. Vaidya donated huge Gajurs to the historical Pashupatinath Temple, Budhanilkantha Temple, Mahalakshmi Temple and the Karnali State Government. Besides, it would not be a surprise to call Vaidya the father of bells.


Vaidya, who used to reach the village with various relief programs during the Corona epidemic, is the driver of everyone’s grief. Vaidya has been established as a national social worker by providing clothes, food and educational and social assistance. Hon’ble National Social Worker Prof. Dr. Jagdish Vaidyaju recently donated a 125 kg Panchdhatu bell to the Madhya Ram Temple in support of Nuwakot district. Tribhuvan Trishuli Secondary School was given a three feet 555 kg Saraswati idol, a 125 kg Panchdhatu bell, food and cloth in Debi Thaan Guru clan, food and cloth in Panchakanya Guru clan and two 1000 black stone lions in Shiv Puri village Thanapati temple. Professor Dr. Vaidya has received many national and international gifts, honors and awards. There is no district, no area or village left without the help of Vaidya, who has set a world record in blood donation.

Vaidya, who is also the chief advisor to various constitutional commissions, is a person who has been providing assistance to many old age homes and educational institutions.
